Dimension Data Acquires Remaining 60% of Britehouse   

This year has been decidedly marked by change, all of which is for the better of Britehouse, and you, our valued client.  

In March of this year we embarked on a process of streamlining our organisational structure with the creation of our SAP, Digital, and Automotive divisions.  This was a success for the business and opened several new doors and opportunities for us.  
For most companies, applications are the means to differentiation, sustainability, and of course, profitability. It therefore follows that these applications must be supported by the best possible networking and data centre technologies. As such, we are pleased to announce that Dimension Data has bought the remaining 60% of Britehouse, and Britehouse will form part of Dimension Data’s newly established Digital Practice.   
Not only does this create a unique growth engine for both ourselves and Dimension Data, but the synergies created mean the elimination of technology limits to our clients’ growth and the accelerated achievement of their strategic objectives.   

Britehouse will retain its operational independence and branding, but will bring into its existing structure Dimension Data’s Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, and Application Services practices. The new entity will be one of the largest SAP and Oracle practices in the country, with a staff complement of over 1 300 people.  

We will also be adding a new division, the Solutions and Services for Oracle.  Dimension Data recently acquired iFACTORY, a dynamic Oracle Cloud business that is leading the Oracle Cloud transformation in the SADC market. It is with great pleasure that we welcome some truly amazing people and hugely exciting Oracle Cloud customers into the fold.   

As the saying goes, change begets more change, and thus as part of this tremendous journey, I am proud to announce that Paolo Masselli has been appointed CEO of the enlarged Britehouse to replace me. I will take on the responsibility of building Dimension Data’s new globally focused Digital Practice from 1 October 2015.
